Our Baby Room- Tiny Treacles

Welcome to our baby room, designed for children aged 4 months and up.

From the very beginning, our team will get to know you and your child during settling-in sessions. We’ll continue to support you through each stage of development, including weaning and adjusting nap times.

We’re always just a phone call or email away if you want to check in on your little one or chat about anything!

Our carefully tailored activities nurture your child’s development every day, backed by our passion and expertise in early years education.

At Little Treacle’s Nursery, we understand that the first 1000 days of a child’s life (from conception until their second birthday )is crucial for brain development.

As an Oliiki Nursery, we plan and carry out activities to promote brain development and work with the founder of Oliiki to support parents in building their babies’ brains right from the start of your journey with us.

Our Toddler Room- Toddling Treacles

Our toddler room is for children aged 15 to 30 months and is an expansion of our Tiny Treacle’s provision.

We follow the same principles of brain development and work with parents from the very start, offering older babies more opportunities for physical play, exploring their interests, and creating moments of awe and wonder!

Our Pre School Room - Little Treacles

Our little ones also enjoy daily outdoor activities, whether it’s in our nursery garden or on exciting trips to the local library, park, allotment, and more! We love creating moments of awe and wonder for your child.

The EYFS

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework sets standards for the learning and development and care for children from birth to five years old. All schools and Ofsted registered early years providers must follow the EYFS. The EYFS supports an integrated approach to early learning and care, it gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children. As well as being the core document for all professionals working in the foundation years, the EYFS framework gives parents and carers confidence that regardless of where they choose for their child’s early education, they can be assured that the same statutory commitments and principles will underpin their child’s learning and development experience.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure safe happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high-quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
